Flooding - New South Wales

Give what's needed

Pest Control

Young aboriginal man lost virtually everything in his home in Lismore floods, including fixtures, fittings and appliances.

Young aboriginal man lost virtually everything in his home in Lismore floods, including fixtures, fittings and appliances.

Due to both physical and mental health issues, which have been significantly exacerbated as a result of the floods he has had to reduce his hours of work and is in a position where he is struggling financially to meet his basic needs. He has been using a small benchtop stove, and hotplates and could do with a proper stove for his home to be able to cook for himself. His washing machine was also damaged in the floods and a new one would be greatly appreciated.

Since the floods his home has been infested with termites, and he is hopeful he can get some support to treat for these pests.
