Want your volunteering opportunities to be seen by almost 3 million My NRMA members?

NRMA has partnered with GIVIT to give My NRMA members more opportunities to get involved and make a difference in communities across Australia.

How to register your council, charity or community group with GIVIT to access volunteers

  1. Head to GIVIT's organisation sign up page.

  2. Fill out the registration form, providing details about your organisation and its work, its website and ABN.

  3. Provide your contact details, and the details of two professional referees.

What does this mean for you?

In addition to GIVIT's big-hearted community of donors that will see your requests for volunteers, requests will now be seen in the My NRMA app.

Place requests for one-off volunteers, or ask for ongoing donations of time and skills. Whether you need volunteers for your event, pro-bono help from a tradesperson, or anything in between, place your requests now via GIVIT's portal, and they'll be seen by more potential volunteers than ever.

Volunteers accessed through GIVIT have helped bolster our volunteer forces and provided backup to our workforce who were tired, overworked and in many cases overwhelmed.

What is GIVIT?

GIVIT is a national online non-profit organisation matching generosity with genuine need. GIVIT connects donors and charities to make sure people and communities get exactly what they need, when they need it. GIVIT supports more than 4,500 of Australia’s most trusted charities as well as hundreds of local neighbourhood community centres, schools and community groups.

More on the partnership

Over the last 100 years, NRMA have been there to work alongside not only their members, but the communities where we all live, work and explore - be it in times of crisis such as floods, fires and pandemics, or with causes that have ongoing need such as vulnerable members of the community. Together, the NRMA and GIVIT are aiming to empower volunteers to make a genuine difference in local communities.
