Resident lost his mobile caravan home in the Beaufort fire events, all belongings and identification perished in the blaze.
Resident and his partner were parked in Beaufort when they were asked to evacuate by the fire authorities. When they returned the following day, their caravan was burnt down and all belongings inside were lost. The residents did not have insurance as they could not afford any. Prior to the fires they were subject to an online fraud which resulted in all their savings to be wiped out. The couple have temporarily moved interstate to stay with family until they get back on their feet. They could use any assistance to stabilise their situation. They both have a lack of income and are not engaged in employment.
