Our service is seeking temporary financial support for our single parent client escaping a domestic violence / coercive control situation, caring for two older and three younger children.
The parent has found private rental to keep herself and her children safe however struggles with payments and providing for herself and for the children on a day-to-day basis. This situation should ease once court orders are in place, however amidst the current uncertainties and stresses, that whole family's wellbeing is impacted.
A one-time financial assistance could take some of the stresses off this parent, and allow them to focus their attention on the longer-term safety aspects of their lives.
