Home inundated with flood water and had no insurance. Only one income and recovery has been very hard.
Client and his wife live in their own home in Shepparton.
Their home did not have insurance and was inundated with water and were evacuated to live in a friends shipping container for a period of 2 weeks.
The home had water through it with furniture, whitegoods beds, and floors boards all damaged beyond repair.
He is a little bit of a handy man so he has done the best he can to replace the damaged floor and pay for the new floor coverings etc. He believes that the home has moved due to the floods and it's at his expense to get this rectified.
Mould has become an issue on some items that needs to be replaced and are damaged also.
He and his wife's mental health has been suffering significantly and have been relying on his wife's family for support.
Any financial / voucher assistance assistance would be very much appreciated to replace damaged, broken and wrecked items from the flood.
