Single dad, obtained his traineeship and now employed by social enterprise, seeking support for his young daughter.
Originally hailing from northern NSW, he came to our service in 2014 after disengaging from school, struggling with drug use and coming into contact with the justice system. He stayed at our residential home, while progressing through our program.
When our social enterprise was established in 2018, he was identified as a great fit and became an employee. He is showcasing great leadership potential and is viewed as a role model by younger kids at the service. He is the captain/coach for our basketball team. Supported by the organisation and his co-workers, he lives with his dad and aunty who are currently undergoing cancer treatment.
We would be so grateful for any support to make sure his 2 year old daughter has everything she needs to thrive and that our worker can stay engaged and attending work.
