I am writing to request financial aid on behalf of a young person I am working with. She is currently couch surfing between family and friends due to a breakdown with her caregiver/ guardian. She is struggling to cover essential items including self-care products, clothing, food and necessities to support herself during this transition to independence. She is currently enrolled in alternative education with the goal of finishing school and is being supported in finding part time work to alleviate some financial strain. Any financial assistance at this time would be greatly appreciated, and she would be so thankful.
