Woman needing some support after the floods
The water came into the kitchen because they were at the bottom of a hill. Everything in the shed and kitchen was ruined. In their bedroom the roof caved in because of the heavy water damage, ruining the furniture and personal belongings there. Woman was going through DV at the time too, and at 3am the morning after the flood, she escaped to a church to evade her abusive partner and seek shelter from the floods. Since then, she has moved into a new unit in Lismore but is still in need of furniture. Especially for storage. She is now the prominent caregiver for her 12 year old grandson with ADHD.
