To provide support to consumers in the community with mental illness and hardship through activity and participation.
We provide specialist community mental health treatment, care and support for consumers across Melbourne's outer western suburbs. Our aim is to provide regular and meaningful mental health support and to help navigate other complex issues including family/domestic violence, sexual violence, homelessness, isolation, unemployment, addiction as well as support for first nations communities.
Many of the consumers we support have experienced significant trauma and disadvantage throughout their lives which has contributed to the breakdown of their mental health.
Unfortunately, we do not have the budget to keep up resources, and are often running low on supplies. Creative activities such as cooking and baking are beneficial for our consumers as it helps to promote creativity, build self-esteem and is a self-soothing activity. We are seeking donations to support therapeutic activity and improve engagement in our group programs.
