They recently removed themselves from an domestically violent household and are close to facing homelessness moving in and out of transient accommodation. They are also experiencing significant financial hardship and high levels of stress finding it hard to get by with day to day living. Mum and son had to leave many of their belongings at the perpetrators residence and are unable to regain them due to the perpetrator withholding them.
The transient living and loss of personal belongings for Mum and the son is beginning to significantly impact their coping and well-being.
