Client in rural Victoria had house destroyed in bushfire and lost everything.

April 2025: Client has been impacted again on March 11th this year when a heavy rain event caused flash flooding resulting in extensive damage to floor coverings and furniture. Client is isolated and still reeling from the impact from the Dec '24 - Feb '25 bushfires that forced closure of their small business.
January 2025: Client impacted again by the ongoing December bushfire and evacuation orders. Loss of income due to visitors not being allowed into the area. Living with a 'Watch and Act' due to the Grampians bushfire that is still burning.
November 2024 update: The client is still coming to terms with their loss and struggling financially to make ends meet.
A person living in rural Victoria had their house and farm infrastructure destroyed in the February bushfires. As a result of the fires they lost all of their possessions. The property was not insured and they are struggling to come to terms with the trauma and loss.
