Increase of people experiencing homelessness

Due to people struggling financially to manage day to day costs of living to pay rent, bills and buy food, there has been an increase in people presenting that are either experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

Buying clothes and essential underwear is not a main priority, however, is something that people are frequently in need of, especially if not being able to access appropriate washing facilities.

People rough sleeping often lose belongings or have them stolen or have to wear the same clothes for weeks on end, which increases decline in people's health and wellbeing.

Having access to clean and fresh items of essential underwear contributes to a person's dignity.
