Supporting Aboriginal client Aboriginal Health Service
Client is a 37yr old female, enrolled at Tafe to obtain Cert 4 health admin to develop her skills and achieve the qualifications in the role of an admin assistant. The course is demanding and at times she struggles to keep up with her assessments as she does not own a laptop. It is a disadvantage for her to continue her studies at home without a laptop. Access to one is crucial for her so that she can continue her studies at home and meet her deadlines without falling behind. Client is seeking assistance with a laptop which she cannot afford at this point in time. Having a laptop will certainly lesson her stress levels and making her learning pathways a lot easier for her to achieve her goal. At the moment her washing machine no longer works and is seeking support to get another one. She desperately needs a new washing machine as she is washing by hand and has not got the financial means to buy a new machine.
