Young mother of a 2 year old has been victim of domestic violence so she has moved from rural Qld into her Fathers granny flat in Brisbane. The Cyclone Alfred event had her granny flat in Brisbane inundated with water and so all her belongings, furnishings, whitegoods and kids toys and clothes were destroyed and taken by flooding waters. The little family wishes to set up near her sister and mother and start over. At this time the young family are seeking support for accommodation and food assistance through local organizations.
