Why a Breast Awareness Program?

Whilst Australia has strong sex education programs that provide accurate and age-appropriate information, what is often missed is information relating to breast awareness.

We are here to fill that gap! Delivering sessions tailored to different audiences, our organisation is offering free sessions to help our community understand their risk of breast cancer, what signs and symptoms to look out for and how you can support someone (or yourself!) if diagnosed with breast cancer.

Breast cancer is often regarded as an older person’s disease, with the majority of women being diagnosed over the age of 40. Whilst this is true, it is becoming increasingly important to educate young people that whilst it is rare, it isn’t impossible.
