Mobile phone
NDIS participant requsted a mobile phone to be able to learn how to use one, and as a form of communication with supports.
Older female NDIS participant is currently homeless, after experiencing some Family Domestic Violence. She is currently between locations of family members and staying where she can in the Gabba area.
The participant has expressed an interest in learning how to use a mobile phone, though does not have money to purchase one.
She does not require anything expensive and would appreciate even a secondhand phone.
Participant is well connected to her formal supports, though when she is not in her usual locations, they have to resort to driving around to find her. Having a mobile phone will alleviate safety concerns.
