Our seeking is seeking financial support in the form of fuel vouchers to ease financial stress of grandparent carers

Our service is engaging with a wonderful grandparent carer who took on the responsibility of full-time care of their teenage grandchild, while on a government pension and waiting for a decision of their Centrelink entitlements.
The grandparent is doing their very best to provide an adequate level of care for their grandchild and that includes allowing them access to trauma-informed supports and services as well as school and other activities.
Our service referred the family to appropriate service for long-term support if needed, however we would like to ease the carer's financial stress while they are waiting for services, so they can focus their energies on caring for their grandchild. It is important to the grandchild continues to engage in healthy activities to enhance their overall wellbeing, and we would like to contribute to the family's fuel costs.
