Single lady requiring assistance to keep employment
Recently reintegrating into society after a period of incarceration. She had experienced addiction, domestic and family violence and her children removed. She has voluntarily seen counsellors, addiction specialists and medical intervention and actively participated in programs with her current case worker and financial counsellor to improve her position.
Working very hard to keep a job that involves large amounts of travel. Due to high rain volumes where she lives, she can only hang clothes out under the house & they take a long time to dry and risk being mildew affected. She wears a uniform for work and needs to keep washing them. She is unable to buy a dryer as her current budget shows a deficit and is looking to secure a donated item. This will enable her to keep employment and remove the stress this issue is causing. All of her own furniture was disposed of when she was incarcerated so she is still trying to reestablish herself.
