Children in long-term foster care needing additional community support for them to be able to live a happy and healthy life.

A child in long-term foster care is wanting to continue his studies and compete his higher school certificate but is need of a laptop to allow him to do this. The young person has been in foster care for 14 years, since the age of 3, and has had to overcome past traumas and experiences to be in a position to commit to studies and attain life goals.
Having a laptop to be able to receive a year 12 certificate would open up so many opportunities for the young person, and also provide confidence to be able to take on further tertiary education in the future and build a life that is meaningful and fulfilling.
