Local Family Needing Essential Furniture

I am working with a delightful Aboriginal family who are experiencing significant financial hardship associated with psychosocial challenges and social barriers. This is a family of six - two parents and four children aged between 9 and 2 years. The family will soon welcome a 9-year-old child to their family as part of a kinship care arrangement.
There is a history of domestic violence (previous relationship) and trauma associated with this, experienced by the whole family.
The family are very help seeking and proactive - they have engaged with employment agencies and support for their relationship, family and mental health. Both parents desperately want to improve their situation.
The family are on a very low income and have expenses which make their financial situation highly distressing. This distress is increasing in the context of Christmas approaching and their need for essential furniture to improve the health and wellbeing of the children.
