After losing everything in the floods and six months of volunteering, this man now has compromised heatlh and no finances.
When the floods took everything from this rescuer, he turned around and volunteered to help others get their houses fixed and supported other volunteers to do the same, even though he has a disability himself. Now his health is not good and his finances are worse. Having to move away to find rental accommodation, he has lost his community but feels guilty for not staying and helping more.
He could do with a few vouchers to get through these times.
