Resident struggling with economic hardship following flood devastation
My resident's home was destroyed by the floods. She was evacuated and only able to return (visit) 7 weeks later, when only then water then began to get pumped out of the home.
She has had lots of difficulties along the way, with the main being her mental health following the disasrer and financial impact. S
he has done lots of the rebuild and clean-up work herself, having to fund this with savings and lending. She is now finally starting to see progress and her house slowly being turned back into her home.
My resident would like assistance with obtaining a fridge/freezer which will be one less financial stressor for her.
