Farmer impacted by bushfire and multiple floods

Farmer living alongside the Snowy River in far East Gippsland had total loss during the Black Summer Bushfires.

Farmer is currently living in caravan and has recently rebuilt his shed. He has lost all his fencing of which he needed to replace after the fires. This farmer has been impacted by floods in 2022 and many weather events that keep impacting his recovery. He was again hit by the January 2024 floods and can't catch a break.

The farm is the only source of income which has been financially impacted as a result of low cattle prices, and not much rain, which means the farmer is having to buy feed for his cattle.

This farmer is needing to replace more fencing, he has some materials but needs more and help to restore what little he has left.
