Young family member in need of glasses to support schooling
Single mother of 5 with no motor Vehicle living in rural and remote flood affected QLD.
Client has young family member requiring glasses to support vision issues for ongoing access to schooling. Client is in financial hardship and unable to afford the additional costs for the glasses expense. Young person has 1 eye not functioning and requires glasses support for ongoing vision. Client has no means to travel outside of area unless on bus to access economical optometry support. Vision Assessment has been completed at local optometrist for ease of access and ongoing support if repairs and maintenance are required. Client is working with Financial counsellor to assist with improving their financial skills and capacity. Seeking support for young person to sustain education and academic level.
