Client impacted by TC Alfred with child with a disability seeking financial support to establish short-term tenancy

Client was impacted by TC Alfred. Client is full time carer to her child who has a disability. Client has been staying between friends homes as she is currently homeless. Client left previous rental due to violence in the home. Client is being supported to access NDIS however the application is still in processing stage. Client recently was successful in obtaining a sub-let rental property, after paying rent in advance and car registration the same week, client has limited funds remaining. Client receives a Centrelink payment; client is unable to work due to her full-time care responsibilities. Client requires fuel and food vouchers due to current financial difficulty. Client's child requires clothing. Client has expressed she is not able to retrieve her child's bike from their previous rental due to safety, Client's child would benefit greatly from a replacement bike as it contributes positively to her movement and wellbeing.
