Neither party can work due to poor physical and mental health but are in the process of applying for the Disability Support Pension. Unfortunately, this process does not happen quickly though.
The young couple have worked hard with their supports to secure temporary accommodation and if they can pay the fortnightly rent, they will be able to remain in this property until their application for permanent housing is approved.
Due to expensive prescription medications and increasing cost of living, the couple are experiencing financial hardship and have begun falling behind on other bills. Currently they are at risk of losing their temporary accommodation.
With them lives two beautiful support dogs!
