Single mother with young children supporting extended family in sensitive & difficult circumstances
Single mother with young children recently relocated residence to get away from very difficult circumstances. The family have been exposed to FDV and trauma, including intergenerational trauma. The children are struggling in the household, though they have their mothers love and support and want to be there together as a family. One of the young children let us know that it is depressing trying to watch movies on the small and smashed screen they currently use. They said it makes them a bit down/low as it makes it hard to ignore that they are living in poverty.
