Older lady lost her partner, had major surgery had to relocate then found herself homeless due to family issues

Our Client is a 60+ aged woman, she lost her long term partner due to cancer, had major surgery on a limb then a major infection in surgery site. Major loss of mobility cannot walk without assistance aids. Returned to ACT with a family member, then was deserted left in a dangerous dwelling where she was physically abused and left on the street. Our Client now lives in a women's shelter awaiting long term accommodation. She still has all her personal belongings sitting in storage interstate and minimal income support to have them sent down to ACT.
