ATSI Young Person requiring phone to engage in education/employment pathway.
The young person is a 15-year-old Aboriginal male with an intellectual disability resulting from a car accident earlier this year. This has significantly impacted his capacity to independently manage daily routines and support needs. Furthermore, ongoing domestic violence within the home has limited his parents’ ability to provide consistent care and support. The young person requires assistance in acquiring a mobile device to help manage his routine and structure, which will support his engagement with education and work placement pathways.
