Along her refugee journey to Australia, client faced many struggles, violence and trauma, including the loss of her husband. Arriving in Australia, with her children, client remarried and experienced significant intimate partner violence. Client does not speak English and has escaped this violence. Client lost eyesight in one eye and due to chronic pain and illness, has limited capacity to cook, clean and any physical labour. Client requires a washing machine as her washing machine stopped working and she cannot afford to replace it.
