Barely recovered from Oct 22 floods, now has the challenge of Jan 24 floods and trying to recover.

An elderly individual who had recently moved to Shepparton was surrounded by flood waters from all sides in October 2022. And now due to the flooding in January 2024, he has had to move into a hotel for his safety.

Although the flood waters did not enter the house, flood wates damaged his car's electric circuits and also damaged some of his personal belongings, clothes and power tools. His only income is aged pension, with which he was able to get new clothes and repair the circuits in his car, but he has not been able to replace his flood damaged power tools. After floods, he has not been able to do certain repairs which has affected his recovery process. Any support in the shape of hardware vouchers can help him get new or used power tools for essential repairs and complete recovery.

This client has barely recovered from the 2022 flood and now with this flood, he will need some assistance to land back on his feet. He never asks for much.
