Single mother of 6 children, homeless and in desperate need of support after escaping FDV in fear of their lives

Client has been homeless with her 6 children since July 2023, after having to escape FDV from her ex-partner. She and her children have been staying at numerous caravan parks until she can find permanent accommodation for them all which is very hard since Covid/rental crisis. She only has the clothes she escaped with and is struggling to get around to services as she has no pram for the 3 younger children and it is too far for them to walk. She is doing everything she can to try and keep them off the streets but is financially struggling as she is having to pay all her government benefits to provide accommodation at caravan parks, motels and air bnb.

Crisis care have paid for a few nights, but have advised this cannot be continued any longer and she and the children are now facing living rough on the streets.

She has no supports and is in dire circumstances and in desperate need for further supports.
