Organisation is holding their annual Back to School Initiative to help ease the financial stress on families.

We are seeking additional support to meet the demands of our community to help meet the associated costs of preparing for heading back to school. As these costs are usually required in December and January, we are finding this is putting extreme pressure and strain on community members who are already feeling the pinch of Christmas and resulting in sacrifices being made. We are hoping to ease some of that financial burden for our community members leading up to Christmas by helping them secure some of the basic necessary items that are required for their children. We are hoping that this extra assistance will help reduce financial and mental stress as well as reduce anxiety and embarrassment and better prepare both parent/carers and children so that they can achieve more positive outcomes and have a flow on effect to better learning and engagement.
