My client is a victim of domestic violence from previous intimate partner. This man is physically violent, as well as verbally harassing, financially controlling and obsessive stalking behaviour. My client has fled from his home, with her young infant son however all her winter clothes, along with her son's winter clothes were left behind. My client has lost most of her possessions in the process of seeking safety, and spent her savings on material needs to get on her feet. My client is fearful of the coming winter and feels she does not have the finance to spare for new clothes.
