Older long term residents of Fitzroy Crossing are struggling to repair their uninsured home which sustained severe damage
In the nine months since the Kimberley floods and due to the remote locality and exorbitant costs they are unable to engage with tradesmen/builders about the way ahead. They urgently require a comprehensive builders report & scope of works to be conducted which will be able to establish a starting point and costings for repairs and refurbishment of their home. The ongoing delays are causing this couple emotional anguish which will only increase as more time passes.
