Items for children in foster care to support their needs and development from a trauma informed and child centered lens

We provide intense, therapeutic support for children in out of home care with extremely significant trauma. It is very common for the children we work with to struggle to self regulate, establish and maintain positive connections with others, and they often engage in behaviors that challenge due to their trauma history and inability to express emotions in more healthy ways.

We are seeking a range of items to support these children with experiences that have ranged from having drug and alcohol dependent parents who have since passed, witnessing and experiencing severe domestic violence, experiencing sexual violence, and bearing witness to the traumatizing deaths of siblings.
