Garden Heroes Wanted: Volunteer in Our Community Garden!
Nestled in the heart of Braddon, our service serves as a sanctuary for youth who have experienced homelessness. With a capacity for 20 residents, we offer secure accommodation for up to two years and guides residents on a journey towards education, employment, and independence to break the chains of welfare dependence.
Within the walls lies a community garden filled with untapped potential. We call on Garden Heroes to join our noble cause: to ignite a love for gardening within our residents! By volunteering with us, you will have the opportunity to share your love of gardening – whether it's planting seeds, composting, conserving water, or organic gardening – your knowledge will be invaluable! Furthermore, your presence will foster a stronger sense of community among the young residents, creating a feeling of belonging and connection.
Embrace your role as a Garden Hero, and join the noble cause of cultivating a brighter future for these youth!
