Living alone with PTSD, multiple strokes and a victim of domestic violence.
A 60-year-old woman with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and a history of multiple strokes. She has been separated from her husband since 2021 and is a survivor of domestic violence. For her safety, she fled NSW and relocated to Queensland. All of her family members live overseas, and she has limited social connections within her local community.
The client has recently moved into a new private rental property, which is currently unfurnished. She was required to vacate her previous rental property due to accessibility issues. While living there, the client experienced multiple falls and was hospitalised several times as a result.
