This family of 5 travelled overseas in 2020 to visit a sick family member. Due to Covid and travel restrictions this family was unable to return, becoming isolated and affecting the financially and impacting their mental health.
Whilst being isolated overseas, the family were unable to maintain their tenancy and lost the house and all of their belongings in the house as a result.
When arriving back in Australia, this family were searching for a property during the rental crisis and as a result, had been homeless for some time. Now this amazing family are in secured medium-term transitional housing and wants to rebuild their life from the ground up.
