Older male experiencing extended homelessness, lack of finances, employment instability
Having experienced persistent housing instability for over 5 years and now residing in his car he is experiencing a decline in both his mental and physical health. During this time he has made a considerable effort to keep working however being a DSP recipient restricts both his ability to earn and his income limit.
Due to residing in his car and having to find a safe place to sleep each night and not having access to cooking facilities he is finding it difficult to afford fuel and groceries.
Once he has been able to secure accommodation his goal is to increase his work and work on his mental and physical health.
