17 y/o Aboriginal young man needing assistance to participate in Driver Education Program in order to get his licence
Client is a young Aboriginal man from a family that have suffered generational poverty. His family do not have the resources to support his educational needs. His home is extremely overcrowded and the family are at risk of eviction. He has been engaging in a flexible learning environment however he does not have the resources needed to succeed. He is enrolled in our Driving program supporting vulnerable young people to get their Drivers License. As part of the program he is required to make weekly contact with the program manager. His position on the program is compromised due to the lack of phone access in the home. He would benefit from a cheap mobile phone to support his continued engagement. His family would also benefit from food vouchers to assist with the ongoing food insecurity in the home.
