Client lives on the Cudgewa creek and parts of her home was flooded during last years rain and flood event.
Client lives with her daughter on the Cudgewa creek (about 40 meters from it), and during last years floods and very wet winter the creek swelled to be about 6 times the normal size and the water table also rose to be just below ground level and everything was saturated.
Client is on around 1200 acres of a beef cattle farm.
Client has had land slide issues for years and also huge erosion issues causing her massive out of pocket costs and unable to manage her farm efficiently.
The majority of the clients home was unaffected by the flood water however the client has her laundry / outhouse in an old cellar which completely filled with water and had to pump the water out. She lost all the items in this cellar including clothes, washing machine, fridge freezers and washing machine.
