Year 10 student and his Pre-Primary sibling lost their Dad by suicide 18mths ago & Mum has terminal cancer & in final stages

A year 10 student at our school and his little brother are in a situation where Dad has recently died by suicide and Mum now has terminal cancer in the final stages. This is a heartbreaking time for these boys who will be placed in care, due to having no other family. The eldest boy has taken on the responsibility of caring for Mum and little brother for the past year. A huge weight upon his shoulders. Mum wants to know that her eldest is set up well for education and independent living. He has aspirations of completing year 11 & 12, getting a trade and managing his own business. Mum has asked for help and support in practical ways, such as, his year 11 school booklist, uniform, food and meals. No one should ever face losing both their parents at the age of 15 & 5. Our hope, along with their Mum, is to relieve some stress and worry about upcoming Christmas school next yr & food to feed himself & his brother, especially while journeying through the grief & loss of their loving Mother.
