Flood affected woman who lost her home in the floods. Has been living in emergency accommodation & out of her community.
Experiencing mental health strain due to the breakdown of family relationships due to the stress of flood recovery. Needing support with basic life costs like groceries and also fuel due to needing to travel further to access mental health and flood recovery support services.
UPDATE 18/10- Woman's insurance company gutted out house, didn't do any repairs and stated that's all they were doing & gave a very low pay out to complete work. Insurance company stopped paying for emergency accommodation for woman & woman has had to return to live in unfinished flood affected home. Currently going through legal process against insurance company.
House is unfurnished and does not have a working kitchen. Woman's mental health has been significantly impacted & she is extremely stressed how she is going to find the money to make home more livable.
At present mental health is compromised & woman can't face all that is needed to be done.
Woman is needing support to cover some basic life costs.
