Car Seat
Vulnerable woman who is seeking protection in Australia due to DFV
She recently fled PNG due to significant ongoing domestic and family violence, and is currently seeking protection in Australia. Due to the pregnancy (resulted from violence), she lost her employment and became homeless. She has been rough sleeping in parks, and began supported by Micah Projects during Cyclone Alfred for crisis accommodations.
Due to her being on temporary visa, she is not entitled to any Centrelink income. She has no income and no family in Brisbane. She recently gave birth, and had a traumatic birth, where she has lost a lot of blood. She is hoping the community could help her with a car seat so she can transport baby safely to attend all their medical follow up appointments in the hospital. She is still learning about public transports, so she uses DiDi a lot. And DiDi requires the passenger to prepare their own car seats for babies and young children.
