Grocery and fuel vouchers are needed to help cancer patients
Being diagnosed with cancer is expensive, with costs increasing the further you live from metropolitan areas. A recent report of Australians with cancer found more than half of those surveyed had out-of-pocket expenses of more than $5000 in the last two years, and more than one in four patients had paid more than $10,000¹. More than one-third of participants in another survey admitted they needed financial support from family and friends².
This NSW charity is committed to ensuring that all people, regardless of where they live in NSW, have equitable access to cancer treatment and care. They operate in 55 branches in country NSW – from as far north as Moree, as far south as the Bega Valley and west through to Nyngan to ensure that people living in the country are given the same opportunities and treatment choices as those who live in city centres.
By donating or FUNDING a voucher below, you can help alleviate some of the costs that come with cancer treatment, including travelling to treatment (i.e. fuel vouchers), accommodation, groceries, and out-of-pocket medical expenses.
Your generous donation will help people who are going through the biggest fight of their life.
